Auto-Owners Insurance Delays Cancellations and Non-Renewals for Non-Payment of Premium
Fuller Insurance was advised that Auto-Owners Insurance Company will place a delay or moratorium on Cancellations and Non-Renewals for Non-Payment of Premium.
This applies to the following states: AL, AZ, CO, FL, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, NE, NC, ND, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VA and WI.
This is an effort to assist Auto-Owners policyholders who may be adversely affected by COVID-19, Auto-Owners is placing a moratorium on the cancellation and non-renewal of policies for non-payment of premium in the above listed states.
The moratorium will remain in place through May 24, 2020, unless specifically extended by any state. The moratorium applies to Commercial and Personal Lines Policies, Property/Casualty, Life, Disability Income and Long Term Care policies. It does not apply to Flood policies. The moratorium is not a waiver; it is only an extension of the grace period in which to pay the premium.
Auto-Owners Insurance Company will comply with all state specific requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
